- Remove the vehicles wheel in order to gain access to the calipers. Remove the brake hose from the caliper and all of the braking components (hardware, brake pads, and slides) for the caliper. Remove the caliper from the vehicle and install the new caliper into position. Reconnect the brake hose to the caliper and lube all slides for the caliper. Install all hardware and tighten to specification. Clean all residual brake fluid from the vehicle and perform a full brake fluid flush in order to remove any contaminants or moisture from the system. Vacuum bleed the system to remove any air or contaminants that remain and road test the vehicle to ensure proper braking and check for leaks.
