- The vehicles throttle body has failed causing the light to illuminate. Remove the old unit and clean the sealing surfaces. Replace the throttle body with an updated / revised unit from Jeep. Install and solder in new required wiring harness and reassemble the engines air intake components. Reset the processors memory, and perform the necessary throttle angle relearn specified by Jeep. Road test the vehicle and check for pending issues with the system in the computers memory.
